Liam Neeson
Efter forskellige småjobs ønskede Liam Neeson at blive skolelærer men droppede det, da han blev en del af teaterscenen i Belfast. John Boorman fik kendskab til ham og castede ham til en rolle i Excalibur. Det blev til mange flere biroller, og i Suspect forstod han at gøre opmærksom på sig selv i en rolle som stum. Den jordnære skuespiller har haft mange historiske roller - fx i Schindler's List, Rob Roy og Michael Collins. Liam Neeson udstråler en pålidelighed, som gjorde hans præstation vellykket (blandt få) i Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, hvor han spillede Obi-Wan Kenobis læremester. Nordireren er særdeles produktiv og action-serien Taken har været et af skuespillerens største hits til dato.
